The Week In Music: More Swag Than Tyler
It was another great New Music Tuesday yesterday with Tyler The Creator and Cold War Kids stealing the headlines. Beyond that though are two albums that are begging to be summer soundtracks.
Gin Wigmore is from New Zealand, and her second album “Gravel & Wine” is packed with swagger. She’s similar to Duffy, with a touch of KT Tunstall, all soaked in whiskey.
Telekinesis is the name Michael Benjamin Lerner uses to tear through indie pop songs produced by the drummer from Spoon. “Power Lines” is a perfect pop song, and kicks off about 35 minutes of fun. Enjoy!
