I’m back!

After a week in Tampa for the Republican National Convention I am fully charged to watch the Democratic National Convention…from my couch…with chips and salsa.

The RNC brought some rare star power with Clint Eastwood (and his chair) last week, but the Democrats are ready with Eva Longoria and…Kal Penn?

That’s right, Harold And Kumar star Kal Penn will host the online coverage of the DNC for BarackObama.com. It makes sense on one level since Penn was actually a member of the Obama Administration for some time as a member of the “Office Of Public Engagement“. But on the other hand he left his post to star on “How I Met Your Mother” last season. So….there’s that.
